Procedures
- The applicant visits Health Institutions Licensing Department, fills out the form of approving a laboratory to make thalassemia/HIV AIDS test.
- The applicant documents the letter in the register of Health Professions and Institutions Licensing Directorate. The letter will then be forwarded to the Director of Health Professions and Institutions Licensing Directorate for review and then to Health Institutions Licensing Department.
- The Laboratories Directorate will be contacted to study the request.
- A date to inspect the laboratory is scheduled.
- If the laboratory does not comply with the conditions and specifications, the laboratory needs to be supplied with whatever is missing.
- If the laboratory complies with the conditions and specifications, the Laboratories Directorate approves the request.
- A letter, signed by the Minister of Health, is prepared to approve the approval of making thalassemia/HIV AIDS test at the laboratory.
